I build harps only for those who want to be the very best they can be. I only make from 6 to 10 harps per year and make every part for every harp
that bears the Woldsong name. Few harpers/harpists know how to best compare the quality of various aspects of the harps. I use my own harps for all the demonstrated tests, but all tests shown or explained are applicable
to all makes of harps. Included with the DVD is a 24 page booklet that explains further tests and
gives the background of the musicians that participate in the tests. It clearly warns of two of the tests that might be
destructive to flip up levers. You should get full permision from the harp owner before doing those tests on any other
make of harp. You can however perform these tests on any Woldsong harp. The package also gives very important information regarding "Finding a Needle in a Haystack" (a term uses by William Rees on his
very fine website) with suggestions and a very strong (and absolutely true) collection of caveats about finding a truly qualified
teacher. Paul
